A little about me.
Some random facts:
- I turned 50 this summer (2025) and ticked one off the bucket list – I saw the Prodigy perform live.
- I still haven’t decided what I want to be when I grow up. Hopefully a writer 🤞😉
- I believe, deep down, “We’re all Jock Tamson’s Bairns”.
- I think I might have a book in me….if only I could start it.
- I get myself into a lot of inadvertent adventures. And I kinda need to know if other people do too!
- This is me in the Darth Vader costume! I was in full latex make-up under the helmet!
- If I could live in any other universe, I’d choose Terry Pratchett’s Discworld. If you’ve read the books you’ll understand.
- I love people! And animals. Maybe animals a teeny bit more.
I plan to use this blog to explore all the crazy things we’re living through in 2025 and beyond…. I’d love to try to make sense of some of it together!
I want to have conversations in the comments and hear from anyone my writing resonates with. Positively, negatively or anything in between.

I want my site to be a fun place to hang out for a while.
Oh yeah, and my mum thinks I am here on Earth for a special purpose to unite humanity. Who knows, in this timeline, maybe she’s right!
I should at least try to find out. I don’t want to disappoint her!

Thank you! I had on black (goth) platform boots too so I was around 6 feet tall for the night! I came 3rd in the costume competition… the standard was that high! The funniest thing was walking back to my car like that to go home. I gave some money to a homeless guy and he said “*Swear words redacted*… I never in a million years thought I’d be getting money from a galaxy far, far away tonight!”.
Ah…. good times!
And yes, I couldn’t imagine life without my furry family! Not got quite as many as you though lol!-
Wow…the standard must have been huge! What you did underneath the mask was unreal…. love that comment by that person! You know you made an impression with that!
We only had Martha a couple of years ago and that was it…then I was given a bearded dragon…and month later a prairie dog…so now we are a miniature zoo. I guess this is selfish…but they all calm me…at the second I was typing this…Martha came and gave me a “let me outside now or I’ll go bananas look.” -
The winner was Selena Kyle (pre “accident”) who midway through changed into an exact replica of the Michelle Pfeiffer Catwoman outfit. I’ll see if I can find the photos…
My best friend did my make up. We had a practice and then on the night, I turned up in my normal clothes with my costume in a bag. I went home to my boyfriend afterwards looking like this! 😅Aw bless her, she must be all over the place right now with all those pups! I bet your days are full of smiles with your extended family 🤗

Cool! I’ll check that out! I’m trying to finish up my Friday through Sunday posts now. I used to post every single day. For over 7 years I only missed a week because of a kidney stone….last year I said nope…this is too much like a job so I only do three days a week now… -
Okay, so I finally have some time to devote to my blog – yay! I’ve added a slideshow to the bottom of this post with more pictures of the Halloween Party so you can see Catwoman in all her (purrfect) glory 😉. It’s funny, most women dress like a sexy nurse/witch/cat at Halloween… not this gal! Hours of make-up just so I wouldn’t break character when I took my helmet off to smoke 😂
Wow yeah, posting every day is a tough schedule to keep to. I tried initially but the problem is, my posts require so much research and that takes longer than the actual writing! -

Well my everyday posts were like a paragraph or 3 very short paragraphs. Plus I posted a lot of Beatles…their history I’ve been reading about since I was 8…so them I know without researching so much.
